ABOUT ME

My intrest in becoming a farrier began in the summer of 2006.  I had the oppertunity to ride along with our farrier.  After two summers of assisting him, I decided to pursue becoming a farrier.  I enrolled at Oklahoma State Horseshoeing School in Ardmore, Oklahoma in the fall of 2008.

     Upon graduating, I returned to Maine and began working in the harness racing field.  During this time, I gained more knowledge of the whole horse.  I learned about nutrition and the care of a performance horse and how to detect and treat lameness.

    I am open - minded and patient.  I will listen to you about your horse's needs and do my best to achieve them.
